Pedal Through History on the Vance Creek Railriders Day Tour
Pedal 13 miles round trip from Camp 1 toward Shelton, for a 2 hour leisurely pedal through a lush green forest. This historic Simpson Logging Company rail line was once part of an extensive network of timber rail lines which were used to haul logs from the high country to the mill. On this line you will enjoy fir, cedar, moss, ferns, and wildlife. All ages will enjoy this unique adventure as they pedal the rails on four seated quadricycles.
This is a physical adventure so take advantage of the easy pedal down toward Shelton, because what goes down does go back up. We recommend maintaining a slow and steady pace on the return to Camp 1; travel at your own pace. Please do not hesitate to notify your guide if you think you will require return pedal assistance. Assistance is by request only.
This is a wonderful adventure for families and large groups.
Please note all of our railriders have 4-seats, come prepared to meet new friends!
